Happy Passover!

Updated: Mar 10, 2022

Let us look forward to the future!

The future, as uncertain as it may be, cannot be avoided. We must cross it as if it were a river. We must try our best to get to the other side safely, the way the Israelites did with Moses, and then later on with Joshua as their leader.

The Passover meal was given to Moses and the children of Israel by God, before they left Egypt. They were to place the blood of the sacrificed lamb on the top and sides of their front door frame. The angel of death would see the blood and pass-over that house so death would not come to them. They were saved! It is a shadow, a prophecy fulfilled in Yeshua the Messiah-Jesus. (To understand this better, please read Isaiah chapter 53).

In the passover meal there are three pieces of matzo wrapped in a white napkin. These represent The Father, (HaShem), The Son (Yeshua-Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, (The Ruach Hakodesh), yet One Echad. (One God). (Yes, the Jews knew about the Holy Spirit and Pentecost even at the time of Moses). The middle matzo (The Son), is broken in two pieces. Half is wrapped in a white napkin and hidden. ( The Afikomen).

The other half is shared by all at the table as it represents the sinless, broken body of Yeshua-Jesus. (The suffering servant), Then the children will search for the hidden matzo. The one who finds it receives a small gift. This reminds us of Yeshua's -Jesus resurrection from the dead and the gift of salvation we receive when we find and receive Him as our savior and final atonement. (May the Lord give us sight to see, because the people that lived in darkness have seen a great light Isaiah 9:2, (Fulfilled prophecy).

This year don't let Passover holiday pass by you. Instead, make it stay in your hearts by believing in His promised Yeshua the Messiah, (Ben-Josef). Receive His Shalom, his peace, atonement sacrifice, and salvation. It is a great comfort to know that His sacrifice forgives all of our sins for ever!

Therefore as we re-dedicate our lives, we eat the bread and drink the wine in memory of his death and resurrection. The second coming of the true messiah is in the clouds, with His angels. (Not from the earth). He will reign as Ben David from Jerusalem. as King of kings and Lord of lords! Blessed be His Name!

Isaiah 51;3 For the Lord will comfort Zion. He will comfort all her waste places, and He will make her wilderness like Eden and the desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

To know we are free, to live forever with God, is the perfect way to enter into the future. Step into the future with confidence! Happy Passover. Shalom!
